System Analyst / Senior System Analyst (Java, Kwun Tong)

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain application systems by performing user requirements collection, system analysis and design, development, testing and implementation
  • Provide user acceptance testing support, user training, and ongoing application maintenance and support
  • Prepare system documentation according to guidelines laid down in documentation standards, and review documentation
  • Assist in technical research and study, and/or evaluation of system solutions proposed by suppliers and provide technical assessment and recommendations
  • Assist in developing and enforcing policies, standards and guidelines on system development and maintenance
  • Analyze user requests and inquiries to provide technical solutions
  • Lead analyst programmers / developers to accomplish the assigned tasks
  • Work with external solution providers to provide IT solutions; an
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree or above preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent;
  • At least six years of relevant experience in IT application development, with hands-on experience in user requirement collection and analysis, system design and SDLC;
  • Technical experience and knowledge in web solution architectural design and development, and web application programming;
  • Proficiency in the following:
  1. Java EE, RESTful API, springboot, JSF/Icefaces/ACEfaces
  2. JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON
  3. Web application programming skills with responsive design
  4. IBM WebSphere, MyEclipse/Eclipse
  5. Oracle 19c or above with PL/SQL
  6. Spring framework architecture, Hibernate, iBATIS, Struts
  7. Dashboard development with data visualization tools such as Qlik
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills;
