Systems Analyst (Java & Vendor Management)

Job description:

  • Manage outsourced software projects, tracking timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Monitor contractor performance and deliverables; review designs, provide technical input, and ensure quality.
  • Liaise with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and prepare specifications.
  • Support all phases of the SDLC, assisting contractors when needed.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, working independently with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Monitor IT security systems and coordinate incident response.
  • Assist with compliance activities such as SRAA and PIAA.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical support, providing diagnosis and advice.
     

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent
  • At least 5-year experience in IT industry
  • At least 4-year experience in Java, JavaScript, MySQL and web programming
  • Experience in outsourced Internet-facing application development projects, from design, implementation, to testing and deployment
  • Experience in vetting or delivering project deliverables, such as SA&D reports, system and user testing reports
  • Experience in responsive web design (RWD), IT security (e.g. S17, G3, SRAA, and PIAA) and quality assurance
