Systems Analyst / Senior Application Developer (Java, Oracle)

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive requirement analysis and translate complex business needs into scalable, robust system architectures for HKP's IT applications.
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Hands-on implementation, deployment, testing, and continuous maintenance of enterprise IT applications to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between internal business units and external partners. Actively monitor outsource vendors' deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and up to technical standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all developed systems align with industry best practices, security protocols, and organizational guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree/ Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in application development
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on application design and development experience successfully completed within the past 5 years.
  • Proven experience in application development and implementation utilizing Java and modern web programming technologies.
  • Solid, demonstrable experience in the end-to-end design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT applications.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage vendor performance and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
