Web Developer (PHP, GIS, Tsim Sha Tsui)

Job Description:

  • Perform website frontend and backend integration to support features including but not limited to user authentication and authorization, weather data retrieval, user information update, etc.
  • Define the structure and syntax of APIs with OpenAPI Specification
  • Address user's comments on the revamped webpages and the GIS map layout;
  • Prepare test cases and sample data and conduct functionality and reliability test of revamped website
  • Conduct unit test and stress test on the Contractor's deliverables
  • Carry out configuration and programming modification according to the Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) and Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) report
  • Conduct system monitoring, tuning, and hot fix
  • Prepare documentation and training to staff.

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related subjects
  • At least 4 years in related experience
  • Proficiency in web development using ReactJS, PHP, and SQL
  • Experience in web-based GIS development
  • Knowledge of RESTful API, AJAX, JWT
  • Experience in version control tools such as Gitlab or GitHub
  • Knowledge of Apache/Nginx web servers and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting is a plus.
  • Working experience with government is required
  • Good communication skills
