Web Programmer (HTML5, JavaScript & Linux, Over $40K)

Job description:

  • Develop and enhance applications, websites, and chatbot services.
  • Improve database and system performance under large data volumes.
  • Design and implement new functions to support operational needs.
  • Provide user testing and production support for applications.
  • Contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification IT experience, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
  • Strong experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle RDBMS, MySQL).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux system administration.
  • At least 1-year exp in managing and support of public sector’s systems & services
  • Preferable experience in VBA, chatbot implementation, cloud computing, web accessibility (WCAG), and Docker virtualisation.
  • Good communication skills; interviews will be conducted in both Cantonese and English.
