Job description:

• Provide comprehensive system and database support for existing computer systems, including handling hotline inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and restoring services during incidents.
• Deliver administrative support such as preparing statistical reports and departmental returns.
• Manage equipment and service procurement processes, as well as maintain accurate inventory control.
• Diagnose and resolve system and database issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Perform maintenance activities, including the implementation, upgrading, and optimization of hardware and software assets.
• Record and track all incidents, problems, and resolutions using the ticketing system to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Conduct research, develop, and recommend policy guidelines and operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain clear, detailed system documentation for reference and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• A Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in Windows environments, including Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SQL Database support.
• Extensive experience in managing Storage Area Networks (SAN) and implementing Server Virtualisation Technologies.
• At least 5 years of hands-on expertise with Windows Server 2008/2012, combined with strong capabilities in Vendor Management.
