IT Helpdesk Engineer ($20-25K)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help
  • Open service ticket, set priority and assign tasks to support engineer
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem and walk customer through problem-solving process
  • Responds to isolates problem, and determines and implements solution
  • Monitor ticket status and engineer support
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Support End-User Services Hotline support and answer user enquires on in-house IT service
  • Handle the user enquire and service renewal on PC and Mobile device service
  • Provide First-level Microsoft office, O365, business productivity tools consulting and support
  • Provide First-level daily support on both network, desktop hardware & software problem
  • Problem management with service partner
  • Installation of new Printer, PC hardware and software
  • Re-configuration of PC HW, printer and SW due to office relocation
  • Provide VPN client, mobile device and network access support
  • Provide support on Windows 10 upgrade and software program deployment
  • Provide DR and BCP support and IT product evaluation


Job Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in IT subject
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant support experience
  • Good Problem Diagnosis skill
  • Good technical skill in PC desktop aspects
  • Self-motivation to solve problem independently
  • Prefer good soft skill and good communication in English
