Key Account Executive / Assistant Manager (Fashion & Accessories Wholesale)

Job Description

  • Develop and follow wholesale accounts
  • Develop and manage the wholesale business in key markets such as Hong Kong, Macau
  • Identify and capture business opportunities to drive business growth


  • Explore new sales opportunities in various market segments for the brand and support management to achieve company’s sales target
  • Develop new accounts, sales channels, and distribution networks
  • Proactively approach potential clients and build up client base
  • Manage client activities including calls, client visits, presentations, sales pipeline and solutions
  • Manage the complete wholesale order lifecycle, from order raising to dispatch and return
  • Monitor transit and distribution times for wholesale customers to ensure the agreed launch date in every market and delivery is achieved timely
  • Produce accurate and detailed reporting to track wholesale shipments and give visibility to key stakeholders (management, finance, warehouse, product, marketing etc.)
  • Be the key supply chain link and representative between the company and supply chain for relevant customers
  • Ensure efficient and correct flow of information between supply chain and the company with regards to availability of products and sales priorities
  • Provide the highest level of support directly to the wholesale customers via frequent delivery communication
  • Coordinate with the warehouses, scheduling the picking process to ensure an adequate workflow while balancing available resources in consideration of business priorities and targets
  • Gather and maintain statistics databases and information to conduct analysis on sales performance and recommend strategic actions to maximize sales and margin, optimize inventory
  • Assist in conducting business research, analysis, and reports compilation for sales & business development
  • Provide clerical and administrative support in various sales functions
  • Handle ad hoc projects assigned from time to time
  • Company will provide existing accounts to follow
  • Chance to travel overseas with Sales Director

Skills and Qualifications

  • Dipolma / Degree holder in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or other related disciplines
  • At least 1 years’ relevant experience in apparel / fashion, strong connection with fashion industry and relevant retail network are essential
  • Customer-focused, putting the customer at the center of all your decisions and activities
  • Innovative and open to new ideas, embracing new ways of working to support the business strategy
  • Accountable for your actions by setting clear expectations and delivering
  • Ability to communicate and build trusting relationships with a wide range of personalities in an articulate manner (i.e. key stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, and internal teams)
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
  • Sales-oriented, strong business acumen and highly analytical with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and computer literacy
  • Independent and ability to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines 
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
