Job Description

The Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software products. The role works closely with developers, QA analysts, DevOps teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve overall software quality. It requires strong expertise in test automation, scripting, AI-driven testing tools, and modern QA methodologies. The engineer plays a key role in accelerating release cycles while maintaining high standards of product quality and user experience.

Responsibilities

·         Lead and manage end-to-end quality assurance activities for digital products

·         Define quality standards and build scalable, reusable test automation frameworks

·         Collaborate with development teams to establish testable requirements

·         Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable feedback

·         Identify, document, and communicate defects with clear steps and logs

·         Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and drive resolution

·         Evaluate and adopt AI tools and technologies to enhance test automation

·         Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies

·         Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and business analysts

·         Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and organizational standards

·         Prepare and present quality metrics, risk assessments, and status reports

·         Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

·         Identify hidden requirements, edge cases, and potential failure scenarios

Qualifications and Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

·         At least 6 years of experience in software quality assurance or related roles

·         Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

·         Hands-on experience with test case design, test automation, CI/CD processes, and code review

·         Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, PHP, or JavaScript

·         Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or QTP

·         Proven experience using AI tools for test automation

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

·         Good command of written Chinese and English; fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
