We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Trend and Innovation Lead to join our Creative Leadership Team. This is a senior role, co-leading the department alongside the Director (who will be working remotely for 50% of the year). The ideal candidate will bring a high level of creative direction, commercial awareness, market insight, and operational excellence to shape trend strategies and drive innovation across our global product offering.
Key Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fashion Management, Design, Product Development, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in trend forecasting, design, product development, or sourcing—ideally within the fashion or beauty sectors.
Proven track record of working with global suppliers and manufacturers, particularly in China; strong understanding of production processes and capabilities.
Deep understanding of the European and/or US retail and consumer markets.
Recognized expertise in identifying and interpreting fashion and/or beauty trends into commercially viable product lines.
Strong knowledge of sustainable materials, certifications, and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with commercial viability, margin targets, and manufacturing limitations.

Confident presenter with the ability to articulate design rationale and value propositions to clients and internal stakeholders.
Skilled in creating compelling trend and product presentations using tools such as PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work within tight budgets and interpret cost breakdowns.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to inspire and mentor a creative team.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Key Responsibilities
Lead trend forecasting and innovation research across fashion and beauty accessories.
Identify key market insights, cultural shifts, influencers, and digital trends to inform seasonal strategy and product development.
Translate trends into actionable product concepts and cohesive seasonal collections across various categories.
Develop samples for customer briefs, working with design teams, and handling initial pricing.
Collaborate with the Director to provide creative and strategic leadership to a team of Trend & Innovation Managers.
Oversee the preparation and execution of client presentations, customer meetings, and showroom setups.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Design Leads, Merchandisers, and Quality teams to develop products from concept to prototype.
Guide the development of sales tools, content, and trend presentations that reflect customer DNA and commercial objectives.
Liaise directly with factories and suppliers to ensure product feasibility, quality, and alignment with pricing expectations.
Travel regularly to China for vendor collaboration, sample development, and factory sourcing.
Attend trade shows and industry events to identify new materials, techniques, and supplier partnerships.
Champion sustainability and innovation across materials, production techniques, and design thinking.
