Job description:
Responsibilities:
Market & Regulatory Awareness
- Stay updated on the latest ESG trends, laws, regulations and technologies, and benchmark with global best practices if applicable.
- Condense information into clear, actionable insights to drive strategy development.
- Assess and propose innovative technologies (e.g. energy efficiency, renewable energy, water recycling, circular materials) to decarbonize operations.
- Support internal compliance efforts for the emerging ESG/sustainability-related laws & regulations (e.g. EU CSRD, CSDDD, ESPR)
Corporate Sustainability Projects
- Develop roadmap, action agenda, progress monitoring mechanism for Crystal Sustainability Vision 2030
- Support in implementing and monitoring sustainability targets
- Support the management and improvement of sustainability ratings (MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP, FTSE and other ESG ratings).
- Assist in preparing ESG disclosures in alignment with HKEx, TCFD, IFRS, SASB, and other global standards.
Corporate Sustainability Project Support
- Perform supporting tasks as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/ Management/ Engineering or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant working experience.
- Working knowledge of ESG disclosure frameworks (e.g. HKEx, TCFD, IFRS, SASB) and rating platforms (i.e. CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE, S&P, etc.) is highly regarded
- Experience in digesting and applying emerging ESG laws/regulation is a plus
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer position
