DBK Technology Ltd (Hong Kong) was established in 1989 and is the product development & supply chain center for our Asia Pacific & global customers. We develop thermal management solution for application in renewable energy, EV charging, transportation & different industrial applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop next‑generation heating, cooling, and control solutions using advanced technologies for thermal management application in fast‑growing sectors such as wind power, energy storage, EV charging, railway, telecom infrastructure, data centres, and modern electrical power distribution networks.

• Optimize design of existing product portfolios to enhance functionality, improve performance, and ensure design robustness.

• Engage with customers in China and other Asian markets, acting as the technical project lead to transform customer requirements and ideas into qualified products and solutions.

• Provide technical support for product performance, application issues, and customer inquiries across China and other Asian markets.

• Collaborate closely with the team leader to translate new product strategies into design concepts, and contribute ideas to the product strategy and technology roadmap.

• Participate or lead global R&D projects.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Experience in electrical or mechanical design, product development, and series production—ideally in industrial applications.

• Product development experience for the China industrial application is preferred; experience in new energy & data centre HVAC sectors is a strong advantage.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or other CAD software.

• Strong understanding of relevant standards and compliance frameworks including IEC 60335, UL 499, UL 508A, CE (LVD & EMC), RoHS, and REACH.

• Technical knowledge in areas such as PTC heating, HVAC heating and cooling elements, liquid cooling and heating modules, temperature and humidity control thermostats, and industrial IoT is highly preferred.

• Strong team player with a willingness to take on challenges.

• Passionate about innovation and creating practical engineering solutions.

• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.

Working Location

• Based in Hong Kong office

• Up to 20% travel to China, Asia Pacific

• Occasional travel to Germany & other countries
