Position Overview:  
We are looking for an experienced Project Management Team Leader with a strong technical background in preferably electronics manufacturing. The ideal candidate will both work directly and through others to manage development projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, sustainable speed, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coach and lead a team of PMs and support staff to manage our development projects from concept to mass production. Role model and cultivate a culture of results ownership (Q,C,D), positive influencing and strong multifunctional collaborations

• Drive the team transition from tactical task execution and reporting to strategic risk ID, ownership and mitigations. Role model ‘extreme ownership’ and develop internal pipeline to handle complex but increasingly shorter lead-time’s system level development projects for major appliances’ control

• At a team, business unit and company level, act as a change agent to onboard our journey towards digital transformation (i.e. adoption of AI) and/ or more agile type project management approach, to systematically improve our cost + speed competitiveness

• Lead the team by cultivating a culture of ‘team approach’ to how we communicate, tackle and co-resolve issues together while project managers both stand in the front as leader and in the core as enabler to gel the functions together to deliver results

• Being the leader of PM team to own the P&L actualization from award to mass production’s leg (delivering our projects on-time and on-budget), as well as be part of the overall business unit’s steering team to steer our team forward for long term systemic growth

• Maintain and/or revamp our project resourcing management systems, to effectively manage the resources of our DEV & PM team, as well as to use it to effectively manage the phase gate level workflow and risk management for our projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Technical field is preferred.

• 7+ years of project management experience in related manufacturing field, and 3+ years of relevant people management experience

• Demonstrated manufacturing project management experience, and proven experience working through others as a coach and mentor to deliver organizational level results

• A growth mindset, and can-do attitude will serve you very well in this ‘growth and challenger’ setting

• Ability to influence others and communicate effectively with situational leadership (different channel to different audience at different time) is critical to both this role and for our PMs

• Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
