IT Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all daily and weekly IT procedures in corporate office and designated hotel
  • Design, implement, and manage preventive maintenance of all IT hardware & software
  • Resolve IT incidents and follow up with end users on behalf of IT Department
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including hardware and software support
  • Maintain standardized system configurations and documentations of LAN & WAN network infrastructure
  • Develop technical documentations / specifications
  • Handle and resolve internal enquiry and troubleshooting
  • Resolve Wi-Fi problems and connectivity issues
  • Develop and adapt any ideas that bring IT services to a higher standard
  • Ensure IT requirements are met:
    • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding technology / asset life-cycles
    • Ensure that the property is adequately equipped with PCs, servers etc.
    • Foresee, identify and resolve system performance related problems
  • Ensure that designated hotel has realistically budgeted CAPEX and departmental operating budgets based on anticipated IT projects and support requirements
  • Provide IT technical guidance to team members
  • Manage Microsoft O365 email accounts appropriately based on actual needs in corporate office and designated hotel

Job Requirements:

  • A diploma holder or above in Information Systems / Computer Science is preferred
  • 3 years of relevant IT enterprise support experience
  • Good knowledge of CCNA, Familiar with Microsoft AD Maintenance, Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2003 - 2018, MS Office 2010 - 2019, Printer Server, Office 365 Setup
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills are required
