About the Role
ED Design is looking for a seasoned Interior Designer to join our creative team. You’ll be ensuring that high-level aesthetics meet structural reality.
Job Responsibilities
End-to-End Ownership: Manage residential projects from initial conceptualization and spatial planning to final site handover.
Technical Precision: Develop comprehensive sets of production drawings, construction details, and material specifications.
Design Development: Create mood boards, design details, and material palettes.
Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design proposals and managing expectations throughout the renovation journey.
Site Coordination: Work closely with our Site Supervisors/Project Manager to ensure design integrity is maintained during the construction phase.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or a related discipline.
Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in the interior design industry. Experience in residential design and build projects.
Software Mastery: Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
Technical Savvy: Deep knowledge of interior detailing and production drawings
Language Skills: Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Soft Skills: A strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Availability: Candidates who are available immediately will be given high priority.
