ED Design is a premier interior design firm in Hong Kong, specializing in luxury high-end residential projects. To support our expanding portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee our on-site renovation and construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

1. Construction Schedule & Site Coordination

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

• Liaise closely with clients, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle

• Formulate, update, and manage master project schedules; sequence work for subcontractors.

• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure progress aligns with planned timelines and resolve potential delays proactively.

• Liaise closely with Property Management Offices (PMO) regarding work permit applications, utility shutdown arrangements, and noise control protocols.

2. Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight

• Enforce strict compliance with design drawings, field measurements, and craftsmanship standards set by ED Design.

• Conduct milestone inspections, including water pressure tests, electrical circuit checks, wall levelness, and bespoke cabinetry jointing/finishing.

• Manage site materials, verifying incoming deliveries against approved brands, models, colors, and specifications.

3. Site Documentation & Administrative Reporting

• Document daily site progress through photography; compile and submit comprehensive site progress reports to senior management and clients regularly.

• Oversee defect inspections, prepare punch lists, and manage rectification works to full completion.

4. Site Operations, Safety & Emergency Handling

• Enforce health and safety compliance on-site, ensuring workers wear proper PPE and adhere to safe working procedures.

• Manage Variation Orders (VOs) and work closely with the interior design team to resolve discrepancies between site conditions and drawings

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in interior design fit-out, site supervision, and project management (preferably in luxury residential properties).

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in reading complex interior design and structural drawings. Deep technical knowledge across all trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc).

• Driving License: A valid Hong Kong Driving License (Class 1 or 2).

• Computer & Admin Skills: Proficient in basic computer operation; capable of preparing project master schedules and site reports independently.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent Cantonese; basic spoken and written English.

• Personal Attributes: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with high resilience under pressure.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work or adjust shifts on Saturdays/Sundays depending on site progress and project deadlines.

• Availability: Immediate availability is highly preferred.
