We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Application Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing applications and systems across two sites: EDPS and Kitchee Football Club. You will ensure optimal performance, effective support, and alignment of applications with the operational needs of the organization. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality IT application services.
Administer and support the company’s ERP system, ensuring it operates smoothly and meets user needs effectively.
Oversee licensed software applications, including the leave management system, POS systems, online shopping platforms, and booking system, ensuring they function optimally and align with business needs.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to resolve them promptly, minimizing downtime.
Manage the development, configuration, and maintenance of applications and systems, aligning them with organizational goals.
Conduct website maintenance and enhancement, ensuring content is up-to-date and aligned with company branding.
Enhance SEO strategies to improve website visibility and attract more users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost website traffic and enhance user engagement, attracting new visitors to our site.
Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to enhance application usage and efficiency.
Collaborate with external vendors and developers to optimize application performance and ensure compliance with best practices.
Enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices related to application management to protect sensitive information and maintain data integrity.
Participate in the implementation of cybersecurity measures within applications, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
Document application processes, user issues, and solutions, contributing to the knowledge base for future reference.
Assist in project coordination, supporting application-related initiatives as necessary.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.
Perform other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in technical principles and application management.
Over 2 years of proven experience in application management or support, demonstrating effective operations and user support in a professional environment.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in ERP systems and application administration, with proficiency in relevant technologies.
Experience and understanding of SEO best practices and tools.
Familiarity with software development processes and principles; knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders.
Fluency in both English and Cantonese.
Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors, fostering a positive working environment.
Self-motivated with strong analytical abilities, capable of diagnosing issues and developing effective solutions.
Willingness to provide support outside of regular office hours when necessary.
