Job Description
(a) To process the support service applications from schools under the Digital Education Centre of Excellence (CoE) Scheme and allocate appropriate CoE schools for support services based on the needs of schools and expertise of CoE schools; (b) To monitor the implementation of support services, provide administrative support and conduct regular on-site inspections; (c) To evaluate the effectiveness of support services, manage relevant statistics, prepare progress reports and devise plans for improvement measures; (d) To promote existing support services and explore other effective support measures for schools in the development of digital education; (e) To manage the online platform for self-learning courses, perform quality control of the course materials and provide administrative support to other Professional Development Programmes (PDPs); (f) To assist in investigating suitable education technology companies for collaboration and analysing the features of new e-learning tools including AI in the current markets of Hong Kong and the Mainland; and (g) To perform any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [see Note (i)]; (b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 [see Note (ii)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; (c) At least 2 years' post-degree full-time working experience. Working experience in liaison, project management and event organising preferred; (d) Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; (e) Good communication and interpersonal skills; and (f) Proficient in common computer applications, including word processing, Chinese input method, spreadsheet and presentation software. With knowledge and experience in using artificial intelligence (AI) tools preferred.? Note: (i) For general awareness, a locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor's degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, for the purpose of this recruitment exercise, only bachelor's degree is acceptable. (ii) For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 2 years.
Remuneration
$33,382 per month
Fringe Benefits (a) 14 days annual leave, whereas rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity leave/paternity leave and sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
