Job Description
(a) Assisting in enhancing CloudSAMS / EdIS to facilitate schools' compliance with the requirements of reporting Form A to EDB; (b) Liaising with various parties involved in enhancement of CloudSAMS / EdIS and formulating user requirements, providing professional advice and conducting User Acceptance Test and responding to enquiries from schools; (c) Assisting in preparing the data of late submission of Form A periodically and take appropriate follow-up actions; (d) Assisting in conducting inspection to schools and providing support in preparatory and follow-up works before and after the inspections; and (e) Performing duties assigned by seniors.
Requirements
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [See Note (1)]; (b) (i) A Bachelor of Education / Postgraduate Certificate in education / Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent; or (ii) A teacher's certificate awarded by the former Colleges of Education or the former Hong Kong Institute of Education, or equivalent; (c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (2)]; (d) With 3 years' relevant post-degree working experience; (e) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, fluent Putonghua preferred; (f) Good computer knowledge especially in word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation software and Chinese and English input methods; (g) Good personality and inter-personal communication skills; and (h) Self-motivated and able to work independently.? Note: (1) For general awareness, a locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor's degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, for the purpose of this recruitment exercise, only bachelor's degree is acceptable. (2) For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth. (3) During the application stage, applicants are not required to submit proof of employment and academic qualifications. Only those who pass the initial assessment and are invited for an interview will need to submit the relevant documents on the day of the interview and present the original copies for verification.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.
Remuneration
$45,640 per month
Fringe Benefits (a) 14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave/paternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
