Job Description
(a) To provide administrative support to the Project on “Whole School Approach to Providing Tiered Support for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)” (the AIM Project); (b) To manage the AIM Project resource repository; (c) To collect and compile the AIM Project documents submitted by the participating schools and created by educational psychologists and professional support team of the AIM Project; (d) To assist in updating the AIM Project manual; (e) To assist in the preparation and liaison work of training programmes for the Project schools; (f) To assist in the development of resources for the AIM Project; (g) To compile the statistics related to the AIM Project and ASD training for teachers; (h) To provide secretarial support for meetings on the AIM Project; (i) To provide general administrative support to the professional support team in implementing “Non-Governmental Organisation and School Collaboration”; and (j) Any other duties as assigned by the Section Head.
Requirements
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent; (b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (i)]; (c) At least 2 years' post degree experience in administrative work, experience in government bureaux/departments or public bodies preferred [See Note (ii)]; (d) Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English languages; and (e) Good communication skills and computing skills, e.g. spreadsheet and Chinese and English word-processing, etc.? Note: (i) For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth. (ii) The recruitment assessment consists of two stages: (I) a skills test and (II) an interview. When a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, the recruiting department will develop the shortlisting criteria based on candidates' qualifications, experience and performance in the assessment. This process will identify the most qualified individuals for further assessment. Only those who are shortlisted will be invited to proceed with the assessments. (iii) The skills test and interview are tentatively scheduled for 12 February 2026. Applicants should make themselves available on the day. Selected candidates will receive an invitation for the skills test in two weeks from the closing date for application. As the invitation will be sent to selected candidates by email or phone, applicants should provide a valid email address and contact telephone number in their application. Those who are not invited for the skills test and interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful. (iv) Candidates who are invited for the interview are required to bring along the original copies of the academic qualifications and supporting documents of working experience and one recent photo. (v) Preference will be given to the candidate who is immediately available.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.
Remuneration
$35,075 per month
Fringe Benefits (a) 14 days annual leave, whereas rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity leave /paternity leave and sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
