Senior Project Manager (Kindergarten Administration) (EDB/KGE/227/21)-(Non-Civil)
Job Description
(a) To review Information Technology (IT) systems and make plans for enhancements considering the genuine business needs;
(b) To coordinate the delivery of projects, from collecting user requirements on system design, liaison with the technical team on system specifications to testing of IT systems;
(c) To prepare, review and update system user manuals and to handle technical and operational enquiries from users;
(d) To develop, maintain and update webpages;
(e) To organise professional development programmes for management and teachers of the kindergarten sector;
(f) To compile reports, statistics and related documents;
(g) To supervise the performance of junior staff as appropriate; and
(h) To perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, Information Technology (IT) or any other computer related subject, or equivalent;
(b) At least 5 years' experience in designing, developing, testing or implementing IT computer systems, and preparing design reports and specifications, of which 1 year in supervisory position;
(c) Have good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(d) Familiarity with web-based technology is preferred; and
(e) Preference will be given to candidates who have working experience in the government bureaux/departments or local education sector.

Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.

Salary: $52,630 per month

Fringe Benefits (a) 14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave/paternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
(b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
