Responsibilities:

• Project planning and management, including product and market research
• Review scripts and monitor editorial works
• Liaise with authors and illustrators to develop projects
• Provide editorial training and/or supervision/coaching for junior editorial staff
• Assist in promotional activities with sales and marketing teams
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• University graduate in Translation, English, Language, Social Science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years editorial or related experience, with Textbook publishing experience is a distinct advantage
• Supervisory experience essential 
• Excellent command of Chinese and English, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese input
• Organized and self-motivated
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Project Editor/Editor
