Responsibilities

• Conduct routine microbiological or PCR tests on water, food, cosmetic and other samples as assigned

• Conduct on-site testing and sampling if necessary

• Conduct QC tests, equipment calibration, stock maintenance of testing material

• Develop and validate new test methods to comply with customer's and HOKLAS requirements

• Perform other laboratory duties such as sample registration, SOP preparation, document control, maintenance, and calibration

Requirements

• Degree or above in Science subjects with Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Applied Biology, Food Science, Environmental Science...

• Hand-on experience in microbial testing of water and food samples is preferred

• Candidates with more relevant experience would be considered as Assistant Microbiologist

• Good analytical, communication and organization skills

• Responsible, initiative, and good team player

• Good in Cantonese and English
