【Responsibilities】

• To lead the in-house maintenance team & outsourced contractors to resolve emergency fault and perform corrective and preventive maintenance works of building facilities, building services, plant and equipment, including maintenance of biomedical equipment to support safe delivery of healthcare service
• To provide high quality and professional nursing care and document accurately and timely
• To classify patients for consultation, make appropriate triage arrangements, give priority to emergency and critically ill patients, and reduce delays in treatment
• To provide comfortable, clean, and safe environment to patients
• To advocate patients’ right in nursing services
• To assist the patient to complete the consultation procedure and provide appropriate counselling, education, health advice when required
• To coordinate and facilitate medical and health care professionals to achieve holistic care
• To initiate and provide education and counselling to patient and their family to promote health;
• To implement and comply with hospital policies and guidelines
• To supervise nursing and supporting staffs in caring of patients
• To handle complaints and manage risk at the department
• To escort patients for inter or intra-hospital transfer, if necessary
• To assist in clinical duties as required including assisting doctors in therapeutic or diagnostic procedures and performing nursing procedures
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

【Qualifications & Preferred Attributes】

• Higher diploma in Nursing or Bachelor degree in Nursing or related disciplines
• Holder of Hong Kong Registered Nurse license with valid practicing certificate
• Holder of valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate/ Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience with outpatient services
• Knowledge of professional nursing practice and skills
• Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathic and be able to demonstrate commitment in nursing
