Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and enhancements to support wealth management processes.
- Participate in business meetings and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Optimize existing applications and processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs and secure protocols.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing to ensure quality delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely support for production systems.
- Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment guides.
Requirements
- Degree holder in IT, Computer Science or related discipline(s). Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Work experience is not required.
- Development skills in Java and working with one of more Java frameworks
- Strong understanding of securities trading, brokerage operations, fund, bond, structured products and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process mapping, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
