F&F has acquired the official license of Major League Baseball and opened the first MLB KOREA store in 1997. MLB KOREA is the first business model which positions MLB as a lifestyle fashion brand. It becomes as one of the most popular lifestyle fashion brands among Korean and there are more than 280 MLB stores in Korea.

As a milestone of the 20th anniversary of MLB KOREA, the F&F Group determined to bring MLB KOREA to expend its retail network to Asia. F&F Hong Kong as the first station of F&F’s expended retail network, we have developed 18 stores in Hong Kong and 4 stores in Macau operating since December 2017.
Merchandising Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a small team in managing the entire buying process for the HK & Macau markets.
  • Formulate and develop annual/seasonal buying strategies and budget proposals to achieve sales, profit, and inventory targets.
  • Develop OTB plans, budget and forecast, merchandise mix, and assortment planning.
  • Create buying plans based on category ratio and allocate the appropriate merchandise to the right locations and channels.
  • Implement effective stock replenishment, inventory control, competitive pricing, potential markdowns, and margin control strategies to optimize sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with retail operations, marketing, and visual merchandising departments to monitor sales trends and formulate sales and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct regular analysis of buying and selling reports, including reviewing sales, inventory, profit, and OTB budgets versus actual performance by channel and division. Evaluate the achievability of budget targets for future seasons using the OTB tool.
  • Ensure achievement of volume, gross margin, and profit goals through effective merchandise selection, buying, timing, and promotion.

 REQUIREMENTS

  • University graduate in Fashion and Clothing or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience in retail or wholesale fashion buying, with 3 years at a supervisory level.
  • Good understanding of retail operations, product cycles, and fashion retail knowledge for the Hong Kong and Macau markets.
  • Excellent fashion and market sense in fashion apparel, footwear, bags, and accessories.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical mind, sensitivity to figures, and good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, and possessing leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Occasional travel required.
