Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who leads and influences sales to retailers and brand owners by driving results through collaboration. In this role, you must work with colleagues and contacts at all levels of an organization to develop compelling offers to close new key accounts. We are looking for an experienced & passionate leader in wine  who is also willing to challenge the status quo of traditional winery. This Role will be directly reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Business Development Manager at our company, you will be responsible for setting up, implementing, and managing overall business developments, lead generation, and closing new opportunities & key accounts.
  • Managing a business development team and keeping them accountable for supporting new opportunities & key accounts closure.
  • Understand wine & sprite trends and translate them into sales pitches presenting to new customers
  • Proactively utilize modernized sales tools to cold approach new key accounts and set business development strategy to nurture opportunities close win.
  • Build and suggest formulation or wine trending products to improve product presentation/pitch
  • Have a passion for selling wine products, and be ready to pitch clients by constantly building our wine products content library
  • Work closely with the sales operations team in following up with activities for advocating close-won opportunities.
  • Work with the product development team in providing creativity of trending wine products to generate sales lead interest.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience working in Business Development and three years in a management position in any wine related B2B industry
  • Strong knowledge of wine Product Development, Winery process, wine Trends
  • Strong PowerPoint / Product Pitch Deck building experience
  • Experienced or open to adopting using modernized sales tools such as Salesforce CRM and ZoomInfo
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Self-sufficient learner and critical thinker with problem-solving skills
  • Team player is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Being passionate about food and wine trends  
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Proficient in French is preferred
  • Must be willing to travel to Europe & Asia
  • Must be willing to travel on regular business trips to the Paris and Spain
