Description & Requirements

We are seeking to recruit dynamic and highly motivated individuals to join our commercial team for our large-scaled projects in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Management and mentoring of members of the contractor’s quantity surveying team;
• Review of contract documentations and identification variations;
• Valuation and agreement of variations values;
• Preparation and agreement of interim payment applications;
• Preparation of subcontract procurement enquiry documentation, analysis of tender returns and tender recommendation reports;
• Subcontract commercial administration, from award of subcontracts through to agreement of subcontract final accounts;
• Conduct cost analysis, budgeting control, measurement and collation of records at our construction sites;
• Preparation of claims documentation and handling of all claims related issues.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction preferably with MRICS or HKIS professional qualification;
• At least 15 years' relevant experience preferably in contractors;
• At least 3 years’ in a supervisory experience, with a proven track record of independently managing a team of quantity surveyors;
• Guaranteed Maximum Price contract experience is advantageous;
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen;
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Quantity Surveyor.
