Logistics Team Leader

Work Location: Tuen Mun


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor daily operations in the logistics warehouse using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Be familiar with scan pack operations.

  • Handle physical inbound/outbound/put-away processes.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Train and manage warehouse staff, providing coaching and support as needed.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.

  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout for efficient operations.

  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in warehouse operations.

  • Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment and machinery.

  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.

  • Handle any emergency situations or unexpected challenges that arise in the warehouse.

  • Assist in budget planning and cost control measures for warehouse operations.



Requirements: 

  • F.5/ HKDSE or above.

  • 5 years of relevant experience in the shipping/logistics industry at a supervisory level.

  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Supply Chain Management (SCM).

  • Preferably experienced in warehouse operations, including maintaining and monitoring daily productivity and operational output.

  • Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Skilled in problem analysis and resolution.

  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

  • Flexible to work in shifts as required.
