Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create, evaluate, coordinate and distribute building information models.
• Develop and maintain 3D models, textures, and materials in Blender.
• Generate 2D drawings from 3D models as needed.
• Perform clash detection with multiple systems.
• Produce animations, renderings, or visualizations based on project requirements.
• Utilize Blender for BIM applications and troubleshoot modelling issues when applying Blender in BIM and produce reports and user manuals.
• Learn and apply OpenBIM principles and IFC standards.
• Stay updated on Blender features and industry trends.
• Perform other duties as management assigns based on the project and business needs.

Requirements:

• High Diploma / Degree holder or above in architecture, structure, engineering, building services or a related discipline.
• 1 year+ of experience in 3D modelling with Blender (preferred).
• Knowledge in Parametric modelling or scripting in Blender is an added advantage.
• Technical writing skills for user guide documentation.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Basic familiarity with AEC workflows (architecture, engineering, construction) or BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills
