Logistics / Shipping Coordinator

Headquartered in Hong Kong, CGS assist the group’s partners in sourcing vendors and products, monitoring production, certifying products and factories and overseeing shipping to the port of destination. Job Description:
Shipment Coordination
Daily shipments coordination and follow-up, both airfreight and seafreight
Monitor shipment status and ensure on-time deliveries
Trading documents (CI, PL...) issuance
Shipping documents follow-up
Letter of credit follow up (issuance, discrepancies...)
Data entry of the shipments into company's applications/systems
Ensure shipment data accuracy and integrity
Monitor the performance of 3PL
Communication
Liaise internally with logistics headquarters, commercial teams, overseas partners
Liaise externally with suppliers, forwarders, carriers and logistics providers
Escalate to management on shipment issues
Communicate with overseas parties globally via conference calls (occasionally beyond office hours) to ensure a smooth organization and on-time delivery of shipments
Supporting Duties
Support the team on daily work and any other logistics activities
Generate ad hoc reports independently
Handle ad hoc projects
Lead and train new team members
All the activities should be on the basis of Casino ethic rules.
Job Requirements:
Diploma Degree or above in International Business or Logistics or Supply Chain
Familiar with trade operation procedures, foreign trade document process and related laws and regulations, with expertise in trade field
At least 2 years of working experience in trading, import/export business. (Candidates with less experience will be considered as Logistics Assistant)
Excellent PC skills (e.g. MS Office)
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Well-organized and efficient, hardworking, good communication skills and detailed-oriented
High sense of responsibility
