Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be a member of the Finance and Corporate Actuarial team (report to an actuary) providing supports on the following tasks:

• Involve in the routine reinsurance data/statements reconciliation process for Financial Reporting and Actuarial Valuation purposes

• Assist in routine data transformation process and maintaining the core databases of the company

• Participate in on-going automation project to streamline data management work-flow

• Work closely with actuarial, accounting, and underwriting staff to ensure data quality and accuracy in the core databases

• Handling ad hoc requests and/or actuarial/database projects as required

Requirements:

• University Student majoring in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Risk Management Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related discipline

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or related analytic tools such as SQL and Visual Basic for Applications is an advantage

• Attention to details, with critical and logical thinking

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese 

• Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player
