The Role

This senior leadership role grants direct ownership of frontline performance, team development, and business growth. You will scale our frontline team, refine our go-to-market strategy, and elevate our brand positioning at the forefront of the wealth management industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Performance

• Lead a frontline team of Relationship Managers (RMs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs) to foster a high-performance, client-centric culture.
• Set and monitor clear KPIs, including AUM growth targets, client acquisition rates, and revenue milestones.
• Expand the sales team in line with business growth objectives and deliver structured training to upscale product knowledge and advisory capabilities across the team.
• Personally nurture a select portfolio of top-tier HNW/UHNW relationships, offering bespoke asset allocation advice.

2.  Strategy & Business Development

• Formulate and execute comprehensive sales initiatives to drive sustainable AUM and revenue growth.
• Originate new HNW/UHNW business via personal networks, family offices, IAMs/EAMs, and strategic industry partnerships.
• Collaborate with investment and compliance teams to launch niche wealth management solutions aligned with market trends.
• Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to refine the firm's value proposition and product offerings.

3.  Regulatory Governance

• Ensure all sales and advisory activities strictly adhere to SFC regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Monitor and supervise the conduct and compliance standards of all frontline sales personnel on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• 10–12 years in private banking or wealth management, with 4–5+ years in a senior leadership role managing RMs/PMs.
• Proven success in building/scaling frontline sales teams and consistently exceeding AUM and revenue targets.
• Established relationships with HNW/UHNW clients and intermediaries (family offices, IAMs, legal/trust advisors).
• Deep knowledge of equities, fixed income, structured products, alternatives, and insurance solutions.
• Valid SFC licence (Type 1, 4, and/or 9). Degree in Finance/Business; CFA, FRM, CFP, or CAIA designation(s) are highly preferred.
• Excellent English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is essential.
