Hearts On Fire, a premium diamond jewelry brand, is seeking an Assistant Manager, PR & Events to be part of the team in Hong Kong.

About the Job

Assistant Manager, PR & Events will be responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies, managing media relations, and organizing events that enhance the company’s image and brand. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships.

What You Will Own

Public Relations

• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the company’s brand visibility and reputation.
• Manage media relations, including drafting and distributing press releases, pitching stories, and creating media kits and other PR materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and PR campaign performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Manage crisis communication and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
   

Event Management

• Plan, organize, and execute events such as product launches, conferences, corporate events, and trade shows.
• Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation.
• Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful event execution.
• Oversee event promotion and marketing efforts to maximize attendance and engagement.
• Evaluate event success and provide post-event reports with recommendations for future improvements.
   

General

• Manage the PR and events budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and solutions.
• Collaborate with other functions and departments within the brand team and the group to align PR and event activities with overall business objectives.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
   

Who Will Thrive

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in the luxury market.
• Proven experience in PR and event management, ideally within the luxury industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage agencies and build relationships with media and industry professionals.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Executive, PR & Events.
