The incumbent will be responsible for conducting chemical testing on precious metals containing metal alloy/pulp samples using Fire Assay method and/or other analytical methods such as ICP-OES, titrimetric methods and etc. Report clearly and accurately the result of analysis in SAP system.
Responsibilities:
Issuing testing report and providing technical services to customers
Ensuring the laboratory in compliance with HOKLAS requirements according to ISO17025 international standards
Following SOPs and QA/QC requirements for routine tasks
Performing sample analysis and reporting the assay results
Calibrating balances and 5S requirements
Requirements:
Higher Diploma or above in chemistry, analytical science, chemical technology or other related disciplines
Solid technical skill in fire assay method and operating analytical instrument (ICP, AA, autotitrator and etc.) is an advantage
1 to 2 years working experience in analytical chemistry laboratory is preferable
Candidate with less experience / lower qualification will also be considered
Immediate availability is preferred but not essential
