Job Responsibilities:

• To design, implement and control on telecommunications duct and cable network for major roadworks project;

• To attend, liaise and co-ordinate with Government Authorities, Project Consultants, Project Contractor Utility Undertakers, other FTNs operators etc. on long term network development plan of HGC;

• To prepare and issue civil works / cable order for works carried out by contractors;

• To monitor and control contractors' works performance and verifying site measurement record;

• To maintain and monitor current duct / cable network in good conditions;

• To investigate and settle complaints on HGC underground plant defects;

• To update G-com record of current and proposed cable / duct network.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma holder in Engineering / Telecommunication / Building Service / Civil Engineering / IT or related discipline;

• 1 - 2 years relevant working experience, fresh graduate will also be considered;

• Familiar drafting with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications;

• Holder of driving license will be an advantage;

• Good analytical, PC / device trouble shooting, and problem solving skills;

• Good interpersonal skill and a good team player;

• Mature, dynamic, work independent and self-motivated;

• Good spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin a plus.
