To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):
Job Responsibilities:
Develop new user-facing features using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Build reusable code and libraries.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Integrate frontend logic with server-side RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with team members using version control systems (e.g., Git).
Participate in agile software development processes and daily stand-ups..
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant disciplines with a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.
Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, NextJs, Vue.js, Node.js).
Solid experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
Experience with build tools like Webpack, Turbopack, etc.
Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience using AI tools in rapid application development is a plus.
Mobile App development knowledge and experience is a plus.
Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
Knowledge of backend technologies is a plus.
Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and well organized with can-do attitude.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and/or Cantonese)

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked gratuity. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
