Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.

HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Senior Executive – IT:

Job Description

• Provide day-to-day end-user and application support (hardware, software, Microsoft 365, Zoom)
• Support to incidents, service requests and solution implementation
• Maintain and troubleshoots PC hardware and software, also inventory and regular reports update
• Assist with network and telecommunication support (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, basic firewall, AD, IP phones)
• Communicate with service providers to ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of the IT systems
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and internal users on IT and related procurement and project implementation
• Perform any other IT related works and projects as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• 1 year or above of solid IT support experience
• Knowledgeable in Windows, Network Infrastructure, Security and Email technology
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities with hardware, software and network issues
• Familiarity with web programming language will be an advantage
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure will be an advantage
• Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Willing to learn new knowledge and accept changes
• Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
