Manager - Elderly Services (Registered Social Worker) [Ref: M-ES]

The Job

  • Manage, coordinate and monitor the overall service operation of a senior housing under the Senior Citizen Residences Scheme (SEN) .
  • Supervise Psycho-social team, Administration & Leasing team, Facility Management team (whichever appropriate); and directly provide professional services to tenants, residents and service users in SEN, including but not limited to counseling and service referrals.
  • Monitor and coordinate service operation of vendor/outsourced service operators.
  • Manage financial and human resources, as well as implement promotional activities to achieve management goals and business strategies.
  • Coordinate the concierge service and provide support to professional/frontline staff to handle tenants/service users’ enquiries and complaints.
  • Plan and develop new services, and coordinate of service quality monitoring of the Elderly Service Section in general.
  • Accomplish the duties assigned from Supervisors.

The Person

  • Degree holder in Social Work Studies.
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in social services organization, including 3 years at management position; elderly service or family services preferable.
  • Good connection with various service providers and stakeholders in elderly/ family services.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill for interactions with diverse clientele.
  • Proficient in English, Chinese and Putonghua.
  • Good PC knowledge in Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of public affairs and community relations matters, sensitive to external social and economic environment.
