The Job

• Plan and implement planned maintenance programs for the properties within the responsible area
• Prepare design, budgets, estimates, drawings, specifications and tender documents for maintenance and improvement works
• Evaluate tenders, prepare tender reports and administer maintenance and improvement contracts
• Manage consultants and contractors, supervise and monitor performance of subordinates, and oversee directly employed labor
• Provide design input for new developments to minimize future maintenance costs and issues; take over new buildings assigned
• Advise and coordinate with users and tenants on their maintenance and improvement needs and requests

The Person

• Professional qualification in Architecture or Building Surveying
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years post-qualification
• Sound knowledge of Buildings Ordinance and professional maintenance practices
• Strong initiative and ability to motivate subordinates
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Capable of working independently
• Hands-on experience in computing
