The Job

• Develop, implement, maintain and support value added, cost effective and efficient IT solutions and services according to HS’ System Development Life Cycle policy and procedures and IT programming standards and to ensure the users’ requirements are met and a smooth operations on the systems.
• Ensure the development and/or enhancement work are completed on time and on budget by planning and ascertaining the allocation of time, manpower and relevant internal and external resources for the project by working along with IT Project Manager to implement large to medium size IT development project and act as project leaders to implement small size IT development project.
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend most cost effective IT solutions where packaged solutions, infrastructure, development technologies can be maximised and leveraged to meet business objectives.
• Partner with end users to identify business process improvement opportunity and to adopt best practice through process re-design and the application of information technology.
• Perform vendor and contract management during the procurement and implementation of IT products and services.  Rate and report the quality including reliability, security, system documentation and performance of computer applications/services developed or implemented by external contractors.

The Person

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT application development , at least 2 years of experience in large systems implementation project.
• Experience in large scale package IT solution implementation, ERP implementation, IT consulting and/or business process re-engineering preferable.
• Experience in property management is an advantage.
• Experience of Capability Maturity Model (CMM), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant IT systems such as UNIX/Linux/NT operation systems, Oracle, SQLServer RDBMS, MySQL, Sybase IQ, JBOSS, Oracle BPM & SOA Suite, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), PowerBi, Crystal Report, FineReport, Java, web services, Python, HTML5, XML, XML Schema, SOAP, and WSDL.
• Experience in agile methodology, using Jira, Confluence, Playwright.
• Knowledge of contemporary information technology including ERP, Web 2.0, Software Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management,  Workflow, Application Server, Web Server, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Identity and Access Management (IAM), Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), Mobile device computing.
• Excellent business partnering, stakeholder management, communication skills, negotiation skills and business solution formulation
• Ability to multi-task and manage in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passionate, proactive, customer-centric and mature.
• Effective communication with good presentation and people skills.
• Well-organized with sound problem-solving and project management capabilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
