Temp Program Worker I - Elderly Resources Centre (6-month contract) [Ref: ERC-TPWI]

The Job

  • Assist the supervisor in planning and coordinating a signature campaign for the Elderly Resources Centre (ERC), encompassing a range of initiatives such as educational and visitation programs, advocacy events, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Provide administrative support for the campaign, including handling public enquiries, managing program enrolments, and addressing related operational matters.
  • Support the collection and entry of data, including service statistics and customer survey responses associated with the campaign.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of ERC Ambassadors involved in the campaign.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor, as deemed appropriate.

The Person

  • 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (Syl. B) and Chinese Language OR 5 subjects obtained Level 2 or above in HKDSEE, including English and Chinese.
  • Diploma in social sciences or other healthcare related disciplines an advantage.
  • Good manner, sociable and cheerful character with strong communication, interpersonal, organisation and customer services skills. 
  • Able to work independently and interested in communicating with elderly people. 
  • Proficiency in MS Windows application, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing.
