The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA), the first civil aviation academy in Hong Kong, is established by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) in 2016. The Aviation Academy has become a member company of HKIA SHL, a subsidiary of the AAHK in December 2019.

The Aviation Academy offers a diverse aviation-related curriculum catering the training needs of aviation professionals, industry newcomers and young people who would like to pursue their career in aviation industry. Partnering with local and overseas education institutions, professional organisations and industry practitioners, the Aviation Academy delivers all levels of programmes including aviation summer day camps, placement programmes, professional certificate courses and accredited programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and continuous development of the Academy’s Quality Management System.
  • Manage the annual QA audit plan, ensuring audits are conducted as scheduled.
  • Support the preparation and execution of audits, inspections, and internal quality reviews for training programs and courses.
  • Maintain the quality database and records.
  • Monitor and analyze data on training effectiveness and quality performance.
  • Liaise with other teams to promote best practices and continuous improvement in quality assurance.
  • Provide administrative support related to QA operations.
  • Perform any ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder with at least 4 years of work experience, preferably related to quality assurance or data analytics in academic or aviation fields.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, and knowledge of Access, PowerTools, and Python would be an asset.
  • Attention to detail; capable of data analysis and report writing.
  • Proactive, well-organized, and willing to learn.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus.
