We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration:
Assistant Professor (Department of Global Business and Marketing) (B&A) (Ref: 26001J5)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Undertaking/engaging in scholarly and professional activities, with a focus on building a strong research pipeline and an international research reputation;
- Planning, developing, coordinating, and delivering courses (including classroom teaching) in the areas of Global Business and Marketing at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels; and
- Participating in School/University activities and administration.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- An earned doctorate in Marketing (Consumer Behavior or Quantitative Marketing), International Business, Supply Chain Management/MIS, or a closely related field (or be near completion at the time of appointment);
- A strong and promising research profile, with evidence of a high level of scholarly achievement. Competitive candidates will typically have at least one paper under “Revise & Resubmit” or at a more advanced stage in a UTD24, FT50 journal, or equivalent;
- A demonstrated strong research pipeline, with ongoing projects and papers under review at leading international journals (e.g., ABS 3 or above);
- A strong commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to teach in English at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and
- Strong communication skills and the ability to use English as the medium of instruction.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, a composite cash/housing allowance, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
