Part-time Course Developer (SOSC 4001ACD) (Ref: 25002PN)

We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:

Applications are invited for the Course Developer post for the undergraduate course SOSC 4001ACD 社會科學研究方法.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • writing study units for a social sciences course on social research methods at undergraduate level;

  • developing self-tests and activities to consolidate students’ learning and application of the theoretical concepts;

  • developing assessments to evaluate students’ progress and performance requirements; and

  • performing any other duties as assigned.

 

Candidates

Candidates are expected to possess the following:

  • A higher degree in sociology or related discipline;

  • Good knowledge on social research methods;

  • Good writing, organization and communication skills are essential; and

  • Publications and teaching experiences in tertiary education institutions are preferred.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a freelance basis.
