We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology:

Part-time Lecturers [2025 Spring Term] (S&T) (Ref: 24002CC)

Course Code	Course Title
ENGG S409F	Design Project for Civil and Environmental Engineering

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:

Undertaking the delivery of Design Project in Civil Engineering programme at degree level;
Marking of assignments (oral presentation and progress assessment);
Providing consultation to students and performing other teaching-related and administrative duties; and
Assisting in course planning and development as well as participating in School / University activities.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

A Master’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline;
Registered Professional Engineer in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Discipline are preferred;
Relevant teaching / professional experience is preferred; and
Proficiency in both Chinese and English.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
