Temporary Research Associate/ Postdoc/Research Assistant I/Research Assistant II (R6656) (S&T) (Ref: 24001XJ)

We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology:

Temporary Research Associate/ Postdoc/Research Assistant I/ Research Assistant II (R6656) (S&T) (Ref: 24001XJ)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will mainly assist the Principal Investigator in a research project "Development of Highly Efficient Cooling Coatings Based on Hollow Microspheres for Buildings" (R6656). He/She will be responsible mainly for the following:

Conducting experiment as instructed by the Investigators;
Performing data analysis;
Assisting in report writing and presentation of the results; and
Conducting other research activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

A doctorate degree with a track record of research and publication in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Testing and Certification, Applied Science or a related discipline; (for Research Associate/Postdoc)
A Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Testing and Certification, Applied Science or a related discipline (for Research Assistant I);
A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Testing and Certification, Applied Science or a related discipline (for Research Assistant II);
Good knowledge of a broad range of research methods and techniques;
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; and
Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
