We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AI Project Management Support specialist to join our dynamic team.

This role is geared towards individuals interested in understanding of cybersecurity, AI technologies, data analysis, and software development. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of cybersecurity and/or AI-related IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure compliance with technology standards and cybersecurity practices.
  • Assist in developing and managing project plans and budgets for cybersecurity/AI initiatives.
  • Support project managers in coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Conduct data analysis to guide project decisions and track KPIs.
  • Participate in meetings, documenting notes and action items.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks with effective solutions.
  • Research AI/cybersecurity trends and provide client advisory services
  • Assist with software development tasks as needed, working closely with development teams to understand project requirements.

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Student of Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines, fresh graduates are welcome to apply;  or High diploma with 2 years' related working experience.
  • Knowledge of AI concepts, data analysis techniques, and software development processes is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in IT infrastructure or Information Systems auditing is an advantage.
  • Proactive, independent, ability to work in a fast-paced and able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge in project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, Asana) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Python, R) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.

  2. This is a position of Part-time internship programme of 9 months.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
