Technical Business Analyst, Contract
Responsibilities
  • Partner with regional tech teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to design and implement solutions that align with regulatory and enterprise standards.
  • Contribute to the development and management of APAC regulatory reporting applications required by local authorities.
  • Ensure all systems adhere to internal governance frameworks, application standards, and compliance policies.
  • Drive end-to-end project activities, including requirement gathering, functional specification, testing coordination, and post-implementation support.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, technology teams, and external vendors to define priorities and deliver timely solutions.
  • Prepare and execute UAT plans, create test documentation, and oversee quality assurance processes.
  • Gather and analyze business needs, translate them into clear technical requirements, and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Collaborate effectively with global colleagues across time zones to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or Application Support, ideally within a financial services or enterprise technology environment.
  • Familiarity with APAC regulatory reporting requirements or compliance-related systems is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of network and infrastructure concepts (e.g., IP addressing, routing, NAT, firewalls, proxies).
  • Strong track record of coordinating with distributed teams and managing stakeholders in multiple regions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Experience in vendor relationships and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in handling data-driven tasks involving Oracle databases, ETL flows, or query optimization is preferred
  • Hands-on involvement in test case creation, UAT execution, and quality assurance cycles.
