HKSC is seeking for the position of Part-time AI Lecturer.
About the Role:
• Design teaching notes and modules that bridge AI tools with real-world business applications.
• Empower students to leverage AI for tangible efficiency gains in their current roles.
• Focus on applied knowledge and immediate workplace integration.
Candidates must possess expertise in one or more AI tools, including but not limited to:
• Generative AI & LLMs: e.g., Practical use of platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Deepseek, Midjourney/DALL-E for content and task automation.
• AI Agentic Workflows: e.g., Designing and implementing systems where AI agents can execute multi-step tasks autonomously.
• Industry-Specific AI Tools: e.g., for marketing, finance, legal research, data analysis, administrative automation, etc.
• Prompt Engineering & Advanced Techniques: e.g., Teaching students to craft precise prompts and use advanced features.
• Productivity & Creative AI Tools: Focus how to use AI tools to assist and accelerate in functional areas, such as:
Image & Video Editing/Creation (e.g., Runway, Adobe Firefly, Kling, Capcut, Premier Pro, etc).
Data Analysis & Visualization: (e.g., ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis, AI-powered features in Tableau, Power BI, etc).
Marketing and Creative Digital Media Design, Strategy and Content Creation (e.g. Jasper, Canva, etc)
Front-end Website Development, Software & AI Application Development.
Mobile Application Development with AI Integration.
Any other AI tools that deem essential and worth learning for future development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a practical curriculum and notes focusing on proficiency in one or more AI tools.
• Teach hands-on skills for using AI tools to solve common industry challenges.
• Guide students in developing AI-augmented projects relevant to their own work.
• Stay updated with the rapidly evolving AI toolset and integrate new developments into the course.
• Provide actionable insights that students can apply immediately after each class.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Proven experience in applying AI tools within a business, consulting or professional environment.
• Specific experience with AI for content creation or data analysis is a strong plus.
• Previous teaching and training experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent communicator, able to explain concepts and applications to non-technical learners.
• A passion for education and empowering others through the AI era.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English is required; Mandarin is a plus.
